The Hike

Option 1:

Hike with Yorkshire Rewilding Network at Harewood Estate

Join us on Saturday 6th April 2024 at 2pmfor a circular walk around the rewilding Harewood Estate.

YRN volunteers and committee members will be there and walking the route and would love you to join us. Or, feel free to choose your own pace, follow our map and jog, run or hop the route – whatever you think will encourage the most sponsorship! We will stop off at Muddy Boots Cafe part way round and there will be lots of opportunities to mingle and meet other rewilders.

This is a 5 mile circular route around part of the estate which surrounds the historic Harewood House, we will be doing it once and we’ve found people are happy to sponsor even modest distances but feel free to challenge yourself and extend it as you wish, there are other options to explore at Harewood!

Children are very welcome and we already have quite a few of our own mini-rewilders gathering their sponsorship money. We hope to see lots of families walking with us!

Please sign up on this free Eventbrite link if you are joining us so we can send you all the details of the day… https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/big-green-hike-social-sponsored-walk-at-harewood-leeds-tickets-847242393807

Option 2:

Choose your own hike

Choose a location and distance, invite friends or enjoy the blissful solitude; you get to decide! Then set up your Just Giving page via https://biggreenhike.com/). The official Big Green Hike is 6th April, but you may choose another date that suits you better. Please tag us on social media so we can be part of your hike. Good luck!

As a small charity, your donations make a huge difference, and we hope we can encourage you to raise money for us this spring so we can carry on inspiring and enabling a Wilder Yorkshire.
